When selecting 2+ processes

2.39.124

Click to select process A in the list.
(Then the total number of the processes changed. Suppose +1 or -1.)
Shift+click process B.
You can see the selection is not from A.

Re: ExtendedNotifications

For example:
[Include] *
[Exclude] abc
versus
[Exclude] abc
[Include] *
In Services, the results are different.
But in Processes, same.
Is this a bug?

Re: ExtendedNotifications

v2.34+ writes UTF-8 into the existing log file (which could be ANSI) and could cause the content to be encoding inconsistent. I think you will not add an option for UTF-8/ANSI saving. But at least, it would be nice if BOM is added for UTF-8. Otherwise text editors could decode the log file using sys...

Re: ExtendedNotifications

Command line infos are also what I want.
Otherwise, for example, recoding regsvr32 means nothing.

Re: ToolStatus

v2.39.124 @dmex Minimize; Then open the window from the tray icon; The toolbar graphs are frozen. (Though they can be resumed by Minimize-Restore or Maximize-Restore.) @wj32 @dmex Though I think this is a bug, I also hope there is a command (and a shorcut key) to pause the graphs (not only the toolb...

Sometimes Command = N/A ?

I have a command line for daily operations. When it was launched, sometimes PH captured the Command info, but sometimes the Command was N/A.
Is this ordinary?

Re: Save CSV/TSV in TXT

Hope TSV format will also be supported in the "Save as type" list.

(Sorry but I can't find the way to edit my post.)

Save CSV/TSV in TXT

If the "Save as type" is CSV, and the "File name" is "somename.TXT", the TXT file should be saved with CSV format.

Hope CSV format will also be supported in the "Save as type" list.

Copy; Extend selection

Copy command is not working properly in Network list.

Click to select an item in the list.
Then sort by another column.
Then Shift+click another item.
ProcessHacker extends the selection not from the last item clicked, but from the line where the item was.
(Similar issue when using Shift+Up/Down.)

Re: PH 2.14 ideas

I just hope ProcessHacker can tell packed images when Internet is not available. Why wouldn't it be able to do that...? OK, I see now. But It proves ProcessHacker cannot tell that AdMuncher(AdMunch.exe) is packed. This is why I misunderstood this option. I need the text. But sometimes it covers the...

Re: PH 2.14 ideas

1. Column Sets! Not very high on my TODO list, because I don't even use any custom columns. Switching column sets is more quick and convenient than selecting columns. In ProcessExplorer, I use a brief column set for daily watching, and switch to different column sets for different details when trou...

RE: PH 2.14 ideas

Will you consider adding these options/features which are available in ProcessExplorer: 1. Column Sets! 2. Tooltip for truncated column header text. 3. Option: Hide Fractional CPU. 4. Option: Scroll to New Processes. 5. Use [Time Date] sequence in "Start Time" column (ignoring user's syste...

Topmost; Sort; Font

v2.13 After "Find Window" operation, "Always on Top" status is forgotten to be restored. Sort the list by Name. Click to select a process in the list. (Say, the 2nd line.) Then sort by Start Time. Now, press Up key. The 1st line is selected.* (That is, ProcessHacker moves the sel...

Re: What's that about highlight?

BTW, a minor issue:
Sort the list by Start Time.
Exit and run again.
The sort order is OK. But the little triangle (direction indicator) in [Start Time] column label is missing.

Re: What's that about highlight?

I also have this problem since v2.10. Highlighting broken. No process icons in the list.
The solutions above don't work for me.
Do you want my screenshots and settings.xml?
