Re: Rebrand to "System Informer"?

What happened with Process Hacker? The same as Netscape when it was renamed Firefox. Why did it need a rebrand apart from the fact that word "hacker" = bad to general public? Microsoft hard-coded filenames and version strings into the kernel so a rename become mandatory.. 35 other compani...

Re: Peview symbols

the Rva appears associated with a large number of functions, unless I am missing something, The PDB file was probably locked (in-use) by another process and MSDIA probably can't determine the RVA correctly without the PDB? If multiple programs are sharing the same symbol path/server then you probab...

Why I not see any activity of send and receive byte in Network panel?
If you've changed/updated network drivers (automatic windows update?) then you also need to change the selected adapters in options.

If I understand correctly, the kernel module has to be compiled for the native architecture.
The WDK hasn't been updated for visual studio 2022.

Copying large strings works for me. You might be copying something with a null character?

Re: PROCESS_MITIGATION_POLICY_INFORMATION

Is there some reason for PROCESS_MITIGATION_DEP_POLICY to not be included or was it simply omitted ? It's not part of this structure and is handled separately by Windows. Also, the last two (shadow stack and redirection) are somewhat new. I am presuming that is why they didn't make it into the defi...

In version 2.39 was "inject dll", but in version 3 not.

Why?
Why should it remain?
zer0cat wrote: 11 Jun 2021 21:26
And what is version 3 anyway? Why do many sites, including wikipedia, say that the latest version is 2.39?
