Wine: PH crash when invoke 'run as' dialog

I recently noticed that Process Hacker crashes when I run it under wine (Windows Emulator for linux) AND open Hacker/ Run as dialog. In detail: The crash occurs because wine haven't implemented some of the API's wants to use. So in first place it's wine to blame for the crash. It seem that the handl...

AutoStart Tab

It would be useful if Process Hacker could also be used to manage AutoStart progams just as the Windows Taskmanager does.
Maybe implement that as a plugin.

Re: Run as Administrator upon Start when I log on

Okay that's how we get PH run elevated via Autostart : Press WindowsKey+E to open explorer type shell:startup To open Start-up folder. Copy the ProcessHacker Link from the desktop in there OR just rightclick on a free space in the explorer windows and choose new / shortcut Open ProcessHacker Link Pr...

Re: Feature Request: 'Find Window and handle'

@viksoftru I know. I was purposing a new feature. Maybe I wasn't very clear - Well I'll try again in simple English: I click ' Find Windows and Kill ' and hold mouse button on some other window. -> The windows gets closed/killed. Now imagine there is new button Find Window handle . I click ' Find Wi...

So item's get highlighted (but not selected) when I just mo...

Feature Request: 'Find Window and handle'

The idea is to add one button more to the the PH3 Toolbar http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/2994/xthGfY.png That says ' Find Window and handle ' and will work simulare to ' Find Window and thread ' and opens the process properties but showing the tab Windows selection/highlighting the windows yo...

Feature Request: 'Restart Process' for TrayBar menu

Well to me it would be very handy if the traybar menu of PH would also offer the option to ' Restart ' the Process. http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/1637/6ScfiM.png To me the option ' Debug ' to start and attach the current JIT debugger to the process would be also nice. But yeah for this some ...

Background color of highlight makes text hardly readable

When I click some item in PH3's listview it get's highlighted. But the items text get's nearly invisible because of the low color contrast between them. http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/5043/Yw6s1r.png The text color is black while the background color of the highlight is dark blue . I don't se...

Re: How do you close open file handles?

Well yeah just wanted to give that a bump up since I also wanna know: How ph2 enum file handles and how to close them? What are the names of API's? Background: Here I've the situation when working with the VisualBasic 6 IDE it happens that file handles remain that'll block the file(s). Then debuggin...

FeatureRequest: 'Restart' for tray bar CPU history processes context menu

Would be useful to have in the pop up menu tray bar processes beside ,,, Terminate Suspend ... also the option Restart How to get there: by default PH shows the CPU history icon in the Tray bar. (else enable View/Cpu-History) Hovering the Mouse over it gives a list of the top cpu processes rightclic...

Bug: 'Debug' doesn't work quit well on 64-bit Systems

I'm running PH2 64 on some win7 64-bit and a little unhappy how ph2 handles 'attaching' a debugger to some process. How to do this? Right click on some process and select 'Debug' from the popup-menu. The thing is that ph2 only uses the 64-bit setting for call the debugger . Of course if the debuggin...

Re: Support for really long command lines

Cool thank you for ya rely.
That's the native Run dialog from Windows and we don't have any control over its limits.
Okay I see. Good to know

Well in some way Run As may serve as a workaround.
