Is this really a big issue? Right now polling is actually the most stable method. E.g. what if a *lot* of processes get started/terminated within one second? That would cause PH to go crazy. With polling PH simply ignores those processes.

I don't think there's anything I can do. Try doing the same thing with Windows Explorer, and explorer.exe will use even more of your CPU. Why do you even care about the CPU usage though? It's just like memory usage - it only matters when you don't have enough.
