Re: How to select multiple processes

You can set the affinity for explorer.exe and everything started by Explorer inherits the same affinity. The same can be said for services by changing the affinity for services.exe with all services inheriting the same affinity. You can't change the affinity for multiple processes by selecting multi...

Re: Plugins-Extra

at least, have the compiled dll plugins for nightly builds under GitHub releases. I feel like this would greatly simplify things rather than trying to setup the SDK and manually compiling. Updating the Github releases page for every nightly build would be a pain. You can download the files directly...

using the latest nightly build. Anyone?
Command line support was removed from the nightly build into a separate standalone project named CustomCmdTool.

That project hasn't been released yet... You can instead use taskkill included with Windows:
taskkill /IM "process name" /F

Re: Search Processes with Regex

Ok. That makes sense since I couldn't get it working. This older forum post made it seem like it was already available. https://wj32.org/processhacker/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3347&p=11273&hilit=regex#p11273 Regex is supported for the "Find Handles and DLLs" window when you...

Re: Search Processes with Regex

The searchbox doesn't include rexex support as yet... It could be added but it would need a very unique string to prevent limiting normal searches.

Re: Plugins-Extra

your builds are normally faster than even the nightly builds. WTF If there isn't a nightly build its because of a problem with recent changes - builds don't get released or published for good reason because they have blocking bugs that might cause major issues. Don't be an idiot and bypass the nigh...

Re: Inject dll to chrome woker process

When I used processhacker to inject dll, it doesn't work. Is there any solutions? Chome correctly hooks NtCreateSection and NtMapViewOfSection to block LoadLibrary injection: https://source.chromium.org/chromium/chromium/src/+/master:sandbox/win/src/interceptors_64.h;l=15-29 https://source.chromium...

Re: Sort tree view

I want to sort the processes while retaining tree view. But the given solution just reverts back to unsorted tree view which doesn't help me. To be more exact I would even like to have the processes listed by Private Bytes including the private bytes of all sub processes. How would you sort values ...

Re: Tooltips on systray

Is it possible to switch the big white process list that appears when you mouseover the systray icon to just a standard yellow tooltips box just so it's more discrete? You can disable the "tray information window" from the options dialog  On my system with dual monitors, the tool...

Re: I have Questions About "Mutant"

What is this? Why does the program need this in order to work? Mutants are synchronization primitives: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/sync/mutex-objects Can I do this manually with software myself? I just need to create this "Mutant, \Sessions\1\BaseNamedObjects\fde38bbd28597ff...
