27 May 2017, 04:24

How can I use java to search for strings in a process (string 4, and search for text)?

Call ReadProcessMemory buffer by buffer and search for valid ASCII/Unicode strings.

Could you explain a little bit more? I have been looking ALL over the internet for the slightest example on how to do this and there's nothing.

It would help a TON!

Anyone have a solution for this? Can't find anything about it... I need to know how process hacker's results are determined after searching a java process with that same string length also.

You can see how it's done by reviewing the source-code (unlike most other programs) ;)

If you do use use our source-code for your implementation then you'll need to comply with the GPL3 and credit the author (Wen Jia Liu).
