Process Hacker Forums

What happened with Process Hacker? Why did it need a rebrand apart from the fact that word "hacker" = bad to general public? Does that mean the project now has more influence from some other people or companies? How does microsoft and their policy on blocking Process Hacker fit in here? How did partnering/giving Process Hacker to a consulting company give a green light to KProcessHacker 3?

I was wondering the same thing, what they have available for explanation is available here, hopefully they'll add a FAQ or something:

Microsoft hard-coded filenames and version strings into the kernel so a rename become mandatory.. 35 other companies followed Microsoft's lead and started intentionally crashing the machine or blocking binaries so the rename/rebranding is required.

Alex is very well known in the industry... Microsoft employees will have an extremely hard time convincing anyone his software is malicious.
