Fortnite doesn't allow Process Hacker

28 Feb 2019, 17:06

Since I've installed the Season 8 of Fortnite, it says "You have to uninstall [Process Hacker]" and it closes himself.
How can I do ?

Fortnite is scanning for our kernel driver. You can disable the driver under Options > untick 'Enable kernel driver' and then reboot.

Can you try running
sc query kprocesshacker3
from command prompt and if it returns "State: Running" then execute
sc stop kprocesshacker3
. This will unload the driver and prevent their detection from working.

If you still can't play then let me know

I had no luck in removing kprocesshacker from memory in the '2' series. Only way I was able to pass 'XIGNCODE' scans was to turn off the kernel driver then exit PH & re-enter (verify that the setting to not use driver was saved and is still set to not load/use it). Reboot system.
Similar problem with similar solution to ProcessMonitor -- though it doesn't have an option not to use the driver -- you just have to not load or use ProcessMonitor before you play the game. Right now, system has been up for 5 days now, i.e. basically never can use ProcessMonitor unless I plan to reboot before playing invasive games. At least PH has option to not load driver in the 1st place.

From the process hacker FAQ page it shows that it is compatible with some anticheat solutions.
However it appears that Fortnite and PUBG lite may be using other anticheat solutions that are not compatible and considers this a problem. What is the process of resolving this issue?

I assume you have rebooted as well.

It sounds like it might be some other program causing the problem.

Until users are willing to stop paying companies that tell you what you can and cannot run on your computer, they will continue to do so.
