Hardware Devices: Network adapters show as disconnected and no graph values

16 Sep 2019 20:00

Some time ago (1-2 months) an update broke the graph display of Windows PPTP VPN on the System Information Window.

The adapter/connection name is still there on the left side list but there is no graph and it displays R: 0 and S: 0.
In the details view however Bytes delta and Statistics are correctly displayed.

Versions: Windows 7 x64, Process Hacker 3.0.2609 (4e4ae664).

This is fixed now in 3.0.2782! Thanks a lot!

I spoke too soon. Now all network adapters have the issue that the graph is missing after either a disconnect/reconnect or a resume from standby. Only restarting Process Hacker will fix it.

Have you tried opening and closing the System Information window after resuming?

Yes, opening and closing the window doesn't help. Only fully restarting Process Hacker does.

Do you need a screenshot?

Just an update... I'm able to reproduce the issue but having some problems locating the code responsible for the bug.

It affects all Network graphs and not only graphs for VPN adapters. The exact same code is used for the Disk graphs and doesn't have the issue.
